Capitalismo pós-www: uma discussão introdutória sobre uma nova fase na economia global

Resumo


Metamorfoses do capitalismo (FURTADO, 2002) constituem uma característica de longo prazo da economia moderna. Revoluções tecnológicas estão na origem de novas fases do capitalismo (KONDRATIEV, [1926] 1998; SCHUMPETER, [1939] 1989; [1942] 1984). Este artigo conjectura que a invenção da world.wide.web (www) em 1991 (BERNERS-LEE;  FISCHETTI, 2000; GILLIES; CAILLIAU, 2000; GREENSTEIN, 2015, p. 103-106) sinaliza um evento decisivo para a abertura de uma nova fase no capitalismo global.
